Bankruptcy

The decision to file for bankruptcy requires careful analysis of your situation. You should file for bankruptcy only after determining that it is the best way to deal with your financial problems.

There are a number of potential pitfalls and tricks in the new law, so it is very important to consult with us as soon as you possible. We are well-versed in the possible complications that might arise in what seems to be a simple and straightforward case and are aware of recent changes in the law and of court decisions in the local courts.

Business and Banking

We admire the entrepreneurial spirit. As businessmen ourselves, we understand that our role is to be a reliable partner to you in your business.  We can help you reduce the risk associated with business transactions and represent you to resolve disputes.

Real Estate

We offer a wide range of services in all aspects of real estate law.  From assistance with property sales and purchases, residential and commercial leases, to more complex zoning and land use planning, we provide experienced and knowledgeable legal advice.  We work with buyers, sellers, condominium associations, and developers and provide the attention to detail necessary for a successful real estate transaction.

Mediation

Mediation is a process that gives parties the opportunity to resolve issues themselves rather than have a judge or jury decide for them. When parties design their own solutions to their own problems, they are likely to be more satisfied with the agreement. Successful mediation often reduces hostility that may go with a court proceeding and allows the parties to control the outcome.

A mediation is generally less expensive than a trial or formal administrative proceeding. Successful mediation will often reduce expenses for appraisals, economic and accounting services, expert witnesses and other expenses that are normally part of an adversarial court proceeding.

Litigation

When a dispute arises, whether between individuals or businesses, it may be necessary to litigate. Litigation is stressful and can be expensive, so it’s usually worth the effort to resolve the issue without resorting to the courts.  We believe our many years of experience handling complex issues makes us an ideal partner when the situation seems unsolvable.  But if litigation is the only way, you can be sure that we will work diligently to prepare your case for trial.

Wills and Trusts

Wills and trust are the cornerstone of every financial plan.  And because every financial situation is different, so are there many ways to provide the level of certainty you need.  We can help you achieve your goals, but the plan is your.
